Eight string tenor
This is an 8 string tenor ukulele built around a hibiscus theme. We don't care much for round holes here at UkuLuLu, so this one has a sound hole shaped like my favorite flower.
The eight strings give a very lush sound when I'm chording, and it's a very mellow backgound for me when I sing.
We Just finished this for a customer to his design...

This one has a pickup in the bridge; the wire plugs into the end pin. The pickup is a
Shadow SH NFX EP-U Nanoflex Ukulele pickup with
pre-amp. There is a ribbon that feeds up through the bridge and sits under the saddle. There's also a battery compartment just south of the sound hole inside the instrument to power the preamp.
